ok, most of my family was in the trucking industry, or is still in the industry. i asked them what would be a competent pay per mile would be, and they said anywhere from $1.95-$2.25 per mile. i told them i'm getting paid $0.90-$1.70 per mile, and they laughed and said i'd go out of business VERY soon, or not be able keep food on the table. is there going to be a change in the range of money we're paid per mile, to make it more realistic?

To answer your question better, I need to ask two questions;

1. Are you still a company driver?
2. How many overall miles do you have?

In the real world some are getting as low as .30/mile. Most people would kill for .90/1.70 a mile.

well, there's your problem

Company drivers get a lower pay grade than O/O's(my pay rate $6.00/mile because I am an O/O)

Also, as you accumulate more miles under your belt, you will get paid more.(I have over 390,000 miles)

this is from the other website(not sure if it is still correct)
00000 - 20000 Miles
20001 - 40000 Miles
40001 - 60000 Miles
60001 - 80000 Miles
80001 - 120000 Miles
120001 Miles and up

some where is the current payrates.

the ones under the finacles tab under the main site is not correct.
