I was just wondering, the part of the log book where it asks if you were dispatched and it asks yes/no; is there away to add an option for Contract Load? And is there a way on our members page, it can keep track of how many contract loads you've hauled?

Sure there is a chance for this but I have a feeling that many will choose yes even if they shouldn´t

But before I get to work with this I would love some feedback from everyone.....

True, but the only way they only get the bonus for contract loads is by actually participating in a specific contract campaign.  Also, if a bunch of people start selecting yes for contract loads, gimmie a holler and I can confirm whether or not they'v been pulling the loads or not.

I think its a good idea, but I know some people get dispatched for contract loads too, so maybe a option for contract and dispatched loads as well?

I think this is a good idea

By now, we have more or less figured who the contract drivers are
And I think if drivers that never haul contract loads start selecting contract loads when they hav'nt hauled them, first check with moose or contract board and take the right actions

Ok, seems to me like we are only getting positive feedback here so I might as well add the option to the logbook.
Do we need this option in all logbooks?
Do we automatically want to transfer an extra $$ amount to the drivers who haul these loads and how much would it be? Let me hear some oppinnions...

I dont know if we need this, but it sure would encurage people to haul contracted loads. I think it should be like the dispatch bonus, 2k should be good.

Do we need another bonus for contract loads? You get a bonus based on how long your run was, the way I see it if you make longer runs you make more money because you get a bigger bonus and also make more in miles.

What if moose posted the chart for the bonuses on the contract board? If people see what the bonuses are then we might get more people to run them.

I gotta say, the contract division has picked up steadily over the last couple weeks; we're currently on our ninth contract and almost ready to begin our tenth! There are a few guys that pop in every once and again, but it seems there is a core group there was well; it also seems that core group is expanding    Also, just for the three mods I did for the TTI Contract Loads [2 for haulin/1 for alh] there have been nearly 300 downloads  . Now obviously everyone that has downloaded is not pulling contract loads, but there has been a nice flow of people making there way over there and it seems to be increasing

As for the bonuses, I've been totaling everything up once a contract get's closed out. I'll also start keeping a leader-board in the first post of all open contracts to keep track of bonuses as well as other "stats."

As for the bonuses themselves; here is how they're set up:

Mileage Bonus

0-500        $200
501-1500   $500
1501-2500  $800
2501-3500  $1000

Not sure if there is a way to write a script or whatever in the database to hand out bonuses for contract loads that meet these requirements, if so, that would be great. It would also be understood if it is a little too complicated, especially given the infancy of this division.
